60 Pounds Gone! (with pic)

Even though I have been slowly and steadily losing weight -- 50 pounds since January and 65 since October 2011, I really have had trouble accepting that there's a big difference in the way I look.

Until yesterday.

A photo was taken of me yesterday which I then compared to a photo from around this time last year. Now I see the difference and am so happy! 15 - 20 pounds to go and now I'm energized to make it happen!

    I think I'll be in the same boat - once I lose the weight I won't even accept it until I see comparing pictures.

    But, even slow and steady wins the race. You did an amazing job, you look really great. :)

    You look awesome! I understand how hard it is to imagine yourself smaller. I have lost 30 lbs and recently went shopping, I kept grabbing size 18s and looking at 14s and thinking, wow that is small. Then feeling shocked that the 14 fits!

    Thanks everyone! It's so crazy how even though I saw the scale go down and my clothing sizes went down, this was what finally made me happy with the progress. And I came across that old picture by accident yesterday...but i'm so glad I did!

    You look fantastic. Photos show how you look to other people. When we look down at our bodies we are not seeing the true picture. Most of us would admit to hating looking at ourselves in a full-length mirror but as the weight comes off it gets a bit easier to do so. Well done.
