My journey so far - 65lbs down with pics

comparisonp.jpg

I'm currently hovering around the 183-186 mark, have been stuck at this weight for about a year now! But I'm determined to get the scale moving again.
I started my weight loss journey in Feb 2010 at 249lbs.
I will never ever allow myself to go back to that!

You can all do this. I am 40. I started at 203 lb in March. I am 5'6" and now weigh 155 lb. Believe me if I can do this you can. We are all here for support. Keep going. We will get there. Yey!

Not that I'm an expert...but for those experiencing plateaus, look into zigzag dieting...or calorie shifting. Basically, instead of having 1200 calories every day of the week, you vary the amount of calories you consume each day. For instance, Monday - 1200, Tuesday 1000, Wed 1400...basically have one super-low day each week and one super high. It's supposed to keep your metabolism "on its toes" so to speak. I've done this with WW Points and found I always lost quickly using this method.
