for vegetarians, one could leave out the meat, the flavor is not from the ground WHITE MEAT TURKEY,
nor are most of the proteins, irons, etc.
THIS RECIPE WOULD BE FINE WITHOUT THE MEAT.

I've been making this for years and it's not only easy but really good. My friend uses tofu in it instead of turkey and it's good as well.
Very filling and tastes even better the next day. I've made it several times without meat and it is just as good. Enjoy!!!0 -

I think I would make this with shredded chicken breast instead of the Turkey. We're not big on the ground turkey.0
