    I am a big "I Love Lucy" fan. Their production studio was named DesiLu (combination of Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball) and 69 is the year I was born because I had to put something else out there because 2 or 3 other users already had chosen that name and when I checked them out, they are not even active with MFP... THAT BITES!! lol So that is my story.

    I've walked 10 half marathons and am training for #11. Since doctors weren't sure I'd ever walk when I was born, I'm pretty proud of my races. A deficient leg is no match for a determined mind!

    I'm a High Priestess, and my patroness is Hera. One of Hera's symbols is the pomegranate. Choosing this as my screen name was my way of asking Her blessing in my endeavor to lose weight and live a healthier lifestyle. (Also, I have a sizable tattoo dedicated to Hera on my lower right leg, and one of the images in it is the pomegranate. The tattoo isn't quite finished yet, but when it is, I'll post pics on my profile.)

    I caught my second oldest with my cigarettes outside smoking on her 4th birthday. We walked inside and quit together. She turned 14my this year.
