Eating when sedentary

As I have been stuck in bed the past couple days I was just wondering how I should be eating? I am usually a very active person and do 2+ hrs of exercise daily. The past couple days of doing NOTHING has thrown me off!! If I am literally just in bed, do I still need to eat my BMR?

I had pneumonia and was in bed for a week at one point last winter........I had my boyfriend make sure I ate at LEAST 1200 calories a day. It was a struggle to do that because I was sleeping so much and just didn't feel well...but I made my "sick goal" just to eat the minimum 1200. I ended up losing about 5lbs during that week, and it stayed of. I think partly because I made sure to eat a decent amount even though I was sick.0
