My background is electrical engineering and I do ship design for a living. I'm also getting my MSEE (just one more semester to go!) with a specialization in controls.

I have a degree in Chemical Engineering but doing Petroleum Engineering work now.

    That sounds like fun.

It is very fun and a great field to be in now. Business trips aren't near as exciting though when they are to an oil rig in the middle of nowhere.

Civil Engineer here!!! Just got my license last month... Studying for the PE exam from May-Oct definately contributed to my wait gain- lack of exercise and bad eating habits. I'm about to start my last semester in graduate school. I soooo know your pain!

I work in the petrochem industry as a piping designer. I love my job, but I hate that I have to sit in front of a computer moniter for 10 hours a day. the lack of excercise is killing me. I was out of work for a while & my life was full of healthy activities and nonstop dancing. Now a days i sit all day and then I hurry home to sit some more. Thanks to all this sitting I have gained 19 pounds in the last 6months. I live in Southern California so for me that means bikini season is just 2 months away and I'm terrified. Anyone who is for supporting me and motivating me to go to the gym add me...I hope to be a good support buddy for you as well.

    Have a lovely day!

    XOXO

I'm a Systems Engineer at work by title, although I'm a Human Factors Specialist by function. I'm currently in an Engineering Management and Systems Engineering program for grad school....I haven't decided which side I want to go with, but I'm rather tempted by both...

I am a Network Engineer. I had very little time to work out while in college due to the huge workload that I had and that was the period of time that I had gained all my weight. I have been trying to lose it all since. Over 100 pounds lost from my all time heaviest but still have about 40 more to go.
