I use the elliptical and the cross trainer a lot. I have been having pain in the muscle area in my left hip for about a month now. Has anyone else had this problem. If so what did you do?
Thanks

Have your doctor check your Vitamin D level. I was having lots of pain in my hip and legs after about a month of exercising. My legs were going numb and I felt like an arthritic old woman. She checked my Vit D level which was low and put me on therapy of 50,000 units a week for 4 weeks. Not only did taking that make the pain go away, I also began to lose weight like crazy.0

I had the same problem this week, but with my right hip - saw an osteopath, and it turns out my sacrum was "stuck" and my hip/lower back/thigh muscles were tight and swollen from compensating. If you can afford it, I highly recommend seeing one. I've seen tremendous improvements in only one session.0
