baby carrots with your favorite dressing
cheese sticks
cottage cheese
rolled up deli meats/cheeses0 -
sugarfree jello, SF coolwhip, chick peas roasted n oven w/ olive oil salt & pepper, cottage cheese, low cal/sf popsicles, pudding pie made w/ sf puddin mix in a graham cracker shell, pork rinds (if u can limit yourself & watch the calories- have no carbs etc), applesauce (I use sf). Fruit, veggies, low calorie candy (sf jolly ranchers etc). Those r some things i have as a diabetic. I also have reduced sugar cake w/ sf icing put out by pilsbury, but haven't lately because I find it hard to figure up the portion size, so have just avoided it. What about some low calorie cheese spread, laughing cow I think makes some.0

Well, a shot of Jack Daniels is under 60 calories...
I hate to state the obvious, but... fruit! Have a banana or an apple or something. Lots of yoghurts are under a hundred calories a pot. Carrots are nice and crunchy...0 -

The whole bag of popcorn kind.
they make 100 cal bags and whole bags for alot less cals.0 -
My faves:
- roasted, unsalted almonds (or walnuts, depends on if we can get to the Bulk Barn)
- string cheese sticks or BabyBel light (if latter is on sale)
- dried fruit (my fave fresh fruit is out of stock at the stores)
- air popped popcorn, provided I've got enough macros left for butter to top it0 -
382 calories for popcorn??? That doesn't sound right. I occasionally eat air popped popcorn as a snack, and the only thing I add to it are spices. Tasty and low calorie.
Right now I'm eating almonds for a snack (I get the individual size packs so that I know I'm only eating a serving).
Fruit, yogurt, veggies - all good snacks.0 -
I really didn't expect so many people to make suggestions!
I wish I could reply to all the posts, but as some of them are overlapping I'll just say thank you sooo much for the suggestions on here! I'm going to make a list that I can stick up on my fridge for when I'm thinking of doing my shopping0 -

Yeahhh, sounds like someone made a mistake when adding that one. :S If you Google, most websites are coming back with around 35 calories per cup. That's a pretty big discrepancy.0 -
i like crunch so celery with a little peanut butter is great. low fat string cheese and turkey deli meat is good too. if it's quick and easy for a snack i like that. If you like yogurt there's several low fat.0

Ah, 382 calories for 100 g of popcorn. 100 g of popcorn seems like it would be quite a bit. One cup says it is 31 calories and one ounce says just over 100 calories - those sound like more reasonable serving sizes for a snack. 100 g is 3.53 ounces.0 -

This is true but you have to be careful of how many cups of popped popcorn are in the bag because it's not going to be the same as the number of unpopped servings. That's where a lot of people mess up when entering them into the database. I wish MFP would monitor that stuff a bit more because unless you have the nutrition information directly in front of you, you have no idea if the entries in their database are correct.0
