Weird ways to help....

Keep you from eating more. Mine is: If i brush my teeth, it keeps me from wanting to eat anything else because I keep thinking "but I JUST brushed my teeth." lol (:

That's a good one. Mint-flavored gum is good, if you can't brush your teeth, also drink a LARGE glass of water.0

Two things help me.
1st thing: to eat a tiny bit of something with fiber in it, which will make me very full and last for hours. An example of what this is to me is 1/2 Cup of low fat 1% cottage cheese with 2 TBSS of ground up brown flax seed in it. It is real tasty too.
2nd thing: to go for a walk either outside or on my treadmill. This works great and cures an appetite for a long time---always works!

A low/zero calorie hot beverage (coffee/tea) works for me.
I tend to overeat when exhausted - was subconciously trying to fuel myself to go non-stop. Taking a break with a cup of herbal tea, preferably snuggled in a blanket with a book for a small 20 min break turns out to be waaaay more nurturing than raiding the pantry for the same 20 min.0
