Okay, here's the deal. You have 24 hours and the chance to see any five bands/musicians that you want in one place. Which five do you choose?

My line-up:

The Zutons
The Killers
The Heavy
Fitz and the Tantrums
Warren Zevon

(note - they don't all have to be currently living)

Welcome!

It looks like you're new here. Sign in or register to get started.

Since they don't have to be alive....

    Queen #1 for sure!
    Led Zeppelin
    Journey
    Kansas
    Eagles
  • Empires (can never get enough of them.)
The Academy Is (all-time favourite band. saw them 19 times, had tickets to my 20th show when they broke up. cried for weeks. I just want to see them all together again one last time.)
Yodelice (Marion Cotillard is an occasional member of this band. at my dream festival, she is there.)
The original Broadway cast of RENT (does this count? it totally counts, right?) (I've seen 5 of them. I want to see all of them.)
Edith Piaf. (she's a legend. it would be amazing.)

That is the weirdest, most random music festival ever.

Oh this is a tricky one...I'm answering this knowing that this is what I'm thinking at this exact moment, and I would probably answer 5 totally different bands tomorrow. That said, my five bands are:
    Archers of Loaf
    Radiohead
    Les Savy Fav
    Modest Mouse
    The Pixies

    Mushroomhead
    Slipknot

It's hard to keep it just to 5, but my top 5 would be:

    Queen
    Bon Jovi
    Frank Sinatra
    Foreigner
    ACDC

Do they have to be alive?? lol

From the top of my head..

    Mumford and Sons
    Vampire Weekend
    Damien Rice
    Jack White
    Tenacious D

I'll change my mind immediately after posting this...

And if they don't have to be alive I'd swap Johnny Cash for Jack White..
  • I'm very wide ranged, but would have love to see Fleetwood Mac live, still fantastic tunes!
    Fleetwood Mac
    Pink Floyd
    REM
    U2
    Akon
    :-)

Oxegen wasn't on this year and don't know if it'll be back.. and you're not too old for it you mad thing.

Jeffy Buckley might be a bit sad.

Oxegen was always super, but a seriously hard weekend
  • -Jeff Buckley would be a little sad, but a beautiful voice, such a talent. My favourite artist, so he has to be on the list!

The Levellers are great, I saw them many times in the 90s, great memories of travelling to the Isle Of Wight to festivals :)

My line-up confined to five ...

    Hendrix (headlining of course)
    Led Zep in their prime
The Rolling Stones (because I haven't seen them yet...)

The Killers are my favourite. Tad obsessed, last month was my 10th gig. 3 more this year.
I've heard that about the phonics before but I'd go just for his voice, it's HOT! lol.

I just need Mumford and Sons to play an 8 hour set. That would be perfect.
