So if yo need your coffee instead of a chai latte use pumpkin spice coffee0 -
This week I've been having quick oats (the type with no added sugar/salt) cooked in the microwave with coconut milk (I'm vegan) and then 1/2 banana sliced and mixed in when it's cooked, plus a sprinkle of cinnamon. The banana gets all caramelised and lovely in the hot porridge! It's about 250 cals, depending on the milk you use (or make it with water) and how much you make.
Multiseed toast, peanut butter and sliced banana is good too but I find it can be quite high in calories. I'd rather save some cals for mid-morning snack...0 -
Hot porridge (no added sugar) and strong tea (no sugar) made with semi skim milk...........yum!0

I have either :
Porridge with organic soy milk, organic peanut butter and banana
OR
French toast with 1 whole egg, organic soy milk, 2 pieces wholemeal seeds bread, organic peanut butter and baked beans0 -
I have poached egg, grilled mushrooms, grilled cherry tomatoes, and 100g of reduced salt and sugar baked beans.
On days I maybe don't leave enough time, I have a 42g individual bag of Alpen no sugar with fat free Greek yoghurt or fromage frais.0 -
I got for any of these, all of which keep me full til lunch:
wheetabix with skimmed milk (sometimes alone, sometimes with chopped banana, depending how hungry I am)
poached eggs on wholemeal toast
veg omelette
smoked salmon and scrambled eggs (occasional weekend treat!)
now the weather is turning colder, I'll start having porridge again. I have it with skimmed (1%) milk and sometimes a sprinkling of raisins...which go gorgeously gooey when cooked in with the oats0 -
Grill
4 slices of turkey bacon
2 tomatoes
2 large flat mushrooms

Well you can always go to the "boring stuff" and eat a butter sandwich with sliced cheese. With a cup of tea or coffee.0

Today
a light english muffin
1 large egg
2 turkey sausages
14 g of FF cheddar
1 fat slice of tomato0 -
I'm a huge fan of eating hard boiled eggs first thing when I get up.
Steel Cut oats (or any kind really) are also a good option.
I like Breakfast burritos or omelets as well.
Honestly, anything with eggs is good.
My favorite, though, it to take 1 slice of bacon (turkey bacon works just as well) and cut it in half. Cook until almost done. Take a piece of wheat bread and cut out a hole. Place on top of the bacon. Crack an egg and dump it in the hole (it will leak out a little bit). Cook on one side, then turn over and finish cooking. Eat with a piece of fruit. If I had a picture, I'd share it.0 -

Sets you up for the whole day0 -
yogurt smootie or

Multi grain english muffin with 1 egg, 1 slice of canadian bacon, 1 slice of low fat american cheese, side of 1/2 c of grapes - only 300 calories0

Sometimes I eat a Bagel. Or hard boiled eggs & turkey bacon or turkey sausage. Maybe Kashi brand cereals or peanut butter toast, yogurts and even Oatmeal.0
-
oatmeal
boiled eggs
yogurt
egg beaters on bagel thin

Berry/Spinach Protein Smoothie - I make this every morning so I have stopped "measuring" - so these are approximate measurements
1-2 handfuls spinach
1 cup mixed frozen berries
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (my fav is IsoFlex whey brand)
8 oz skim milk
1-2 tsp ground flax seeds
+ A little honey & ice, if desired
Under 300 calories, very filling, and you can drink it while getting ready in the morning0 -
I always have a carton of egg whites in the fridge, and i usually whip up a quick cheese (low fat of course) omlette, with some whole wheat toast, or i'll microwave some plain oatmeal and add a tbsp. of peanut butter. Maybe try a protein shake with some fruit thrown in the mix as well.0
-
Nutri Grain breakfast biscuits (fruit and fibre)! They may not look much but they keep me full for a number of hours.
Good luck x0 -
Right now I'm having a bowl of Kellogg's coco pops, some fruit and a yoghurt drink each morning. A little less than 250 calories. I know those coco pops aren't the healthiest things around, but they're so yummy and I need some yummy food! haha0
-
I eat either 12 grain or multi grain toast with peanut butter and banana, or peanut butter and jelly and have yogurt with it, or oatmeal with a cup of yogurt. I try to have yogurt or fruit with my meals. But if I'm running late, I have a protein meal bar.0
