Walking App on Android

Just thought I'd share this App I have on my phone. Especially for people who are doing the Mile or step challenges. It's called Walkroid. You put in your stats, press start and go. It tracks day by and day and saves it in log form and keeps a running total. Hope this helps people who don't have a pedometer

I've used Walkroid before its okay. You should try Endomondo if your into walking long routes. Its GPS based not a pedometer.

I really like the Nike+ Running app I have on my andrioid. It is GPS based, tracks your route, calories, pace, and distance. Keeps track of each run or walk. Shows speed during your walk/run by color on the route map. Very helpful to use!

If you don't like walking or running with your phone (some are large), you can also have the Nike+ app on an ipod but it does require an additional sensor for your shoe.

    Thanks I'll look into it.
  • Another good choice is Cardio Trainer. I use the free version. It is also GPS based, but can do step based if you are indoors and it plays music while you walk if have it on your phone.
