    Bacon!

    I've lived in rural NC for 5 years now and went to a country buffet restaurant in town. It's a family owned type of place that has this $7 all you can eat back woods country buffet. Yum yum! So I was piling on everything and saw some Fat Back. I never had fat back before so I thought I'd try it. I mean it looks like bacon so it's got to be good? I had it mixed in the greens and took a big old chomp! The dentist told me I have 4 split teeth. Every time I eat something crunchy, like bacon, my teeth hurt! Warning, Fat Back is the jaw breaker of bacon.

    I've heard a few ex-vegetarians say that bacon lured them back to the dark side.

    Why would anyone want to unfriend someone just because they choose not to eat bacon? More bacon for me, I say :)

    Just wanted to share a little something I made with you all I lined a cupcake tin with turkey bacon poured eggbeaters in the center added a little cheddar cheese and made bacon egg and cheese muffins so good and very low in calories!

    I'm sorry that I have no pictures to share but, I cannot, will not, everrrrrrrrr go camping without bacon. I MUST cook some over an open fire in my grandmas 100+ year old cast iron skillet she gave me. NOTHING smells better than bacon being cooked over an open fire. OK, well popcorn comes second but that's irrelevant.

    And for any of those who <gasp> FEAR bacon cals, a cooked, crisp piece of bacon only has 35 calories! It's worth it to me!

    Yess!! But it needs a wee variety. Like bacon scallop roses....bacon shrimp...

    A kindergarten child at my wife's school brought a snack in the other day.
    The teacher was surprised at snack time when the little boy pulled a baggie out of his pack and it contained 1 slice of crisp bacon.

    My wife was appalled. My boys and I were "He!! Yea!"
