Tennis players!!!

Hello - I've been playing tennis for over 20 years now, and I love it! I have a hard time finding a game with people that are at my level, but I'm starting to find a few more people.
Anyone else out there a die hard tennis player? What is your rating? I'm between a 3.5-4.0. Do you play USTA or just local leagues?

I am between a 4.5 and a 5.0 (depending on who is doing the ranking). Fortunately, the club where I play in the winter rates us and then helps us find comparable players. I suggest finding a club with league teams and joining one that challenges you, or find a club with a competitive ladder, so you always have good matches. OH ... and I play 4 times per week. Good luck! Cheers!0

God...I haven't played since High School. I loved it back then, though. Here's a bump for you.0

I'm a 4.0. I just restarted playing. In January, I had ACL surgery, with a cartilage repair procedure known as an OATS procedure, and had to take almost nine months off.
Gosh, it is good to be back, even if I cannot really run yet -- more like hobble. Needless to say, I am mostly playing doubles.
Most clubs have ladders that will help you find people to play who are near your level.
I have played a number of times in a Northern California USTA flex league. I think USTA has flex leagues in almost all regions. I have not found that I met people with whom I now play regularly, but it is a really good way to play with new, different people, which is always good practice.
I have also played on some USTA teams, where you have a team match about once a week for eight weeks. I would bet that if you check the USTA website, and the leagues page you could find a team to join.
Also, there is a park in my town (Sacramento) where guys just meet, at about 10 in the morning, to play. It is almost like pickup basketball, where people who want to play just show up and find a game. You might want to check around to see if you have a park like that. If you are open to that idea. It is mostly men. But, we get some women too.
The biggest club in the area also has morning pickup games for anyone who shows. I do not know if other clubs have the same thing or not. But it might be worth checking out.
Good luck0 -

Thanks I know there have to be other tennis lovers out there!!0 -
Im obsessed with tennis!!! I'm in Canada and we dont really have a ranking or rating system at our club, but I am one of the more advanced women here. Unfortunately, we only have a club over the summer, and a crappy 2 court faciity at our college for the winter, so tennis isnt taken too seriously by many here. Plus we are very isolated here, so there isnt much competition here. Im going to play at 6 tonight with my new racket!!0
