I'm not sure if I am the only one that does this....and sometime I feel like a little stalker...but I make my grocery shopping list base on my friends on MFPs that have lost the most (AHHHHH))))...I am sooo glad I got that off my chest, you guys should really see me sitting there with my little book and going through my friends list and seeing how much each person lost and which one has their diary open so I can make my grocery list.....and I have a "magic" number that someone needs to lose before they are qualified...lol sorry guys I have to make this into a game if I want to succeed....I LOVE MY FRIENDS and thank you to the ones that leave their diary wide open....:)....


You guys this is the first time I am actually cooking or preparing my own food, my mother has done it for me for 23 years now....:) Gotta start somewhere....do you guys mind sharing something that you guys do to help you stay on track...

    When I get tired of bypassing all the empty calories I used to consume, I gp pick up something heavy - the equivelant of the weight that I've lost - and pack it around while I think about it.

    agreed agreed. You can learn a lot and get very good idea's from doing and eating the things that work for others. Thats how we all learn. Try things, see if it work and if it doesn't, discard it. if it works..yay for you:)

    The best thing that helps me stay on track is I allow myself a bit of vanity every now and then. If I'm just sitting types and I notice my forearm looks really sexy and slim I'll go ahead and admire that. When I'm laying down reading I might put my legs up against the wall and flex just to see the new muscles that weren't showing before. When I'm doing squat bicep curls I totally check out my arms and watch and they tighten and lengthen, I love it!

    I know these bits and I want more of these bits and it helps make me excited about workouts!

    Edit: I also totally check out other people too and work for what I want of their bodies 8o

  • I like the idea of sharing ideas. And I will use the one from julimonster who picks up something heavy and lugs it around, to remind her of the progress she has made, if she is feeling like eating empty calories.

  • LMAO i hope not mine... my diary is HORRIBLE! I'm surprised i haven't gained everything back lol. plus mine pretty much sucks for diversity wise lol. chicken, veggies, fruit, and the rare occasion pasta.
