What is the best way to ripen and store avocados?

To ripen put them in a brown bag in a dark place(be careful once they start, theyll be ready very fast)...once you cut it, leave the pit in the unused portion, plastic wrap & put in fridge... has always worked for me0

To ripen them, put them in a brown paper bag with an apple. The apple gives off a gas that helps them ripen. I store them in the fridge when ripe and wrap them tightly if cut. The oxidize and turn brown quickly if exposed to air.0

to store them, just sit 'em on the counter or windowsill0
