    There's a really established, incredibly supportive Couch to 5K group on here already....with new people starting each week. Lots of good tips and learnings to be found there:

    I used this program to help train my sister for a 5K. Since then I've recommended it to a lot of people. It's a great program and really works.

    The one I use is C25K by Zen Labs because it's free. But there are a bunch of other ones. Just search C25K. :smile:

    I did W2, D1 last night....goign to have to strengthen my quads! My knees are sore!


    I'm starting W3 D1 tonight and am having the same problem. Sore knees and hamstrings even though I'm stretching.

    What a coincidence!! I just started myself!! (Yesterday I finished Week1 Day2) but my plan is in place of the speed hiits for cardio I will do a C25k workout every other day.

    What day are you on>??

    I will jump in for the support but I have recently found another interval program that I am going to try instead of C25K. I found it in a magazine but the c25k thing doesnt seem like it's working well for me right now.

    Just started too...did W2D2 today. I have to admit it's feeling pretty good.

    any suggestions as to what my 'run' speed should be? I dont want to come out too hard or leave anything on the table.
