I also hate most words that end in --"ery", such as "hattery", "eggery" and any other made up --"ery" word that simply is meant to imply a place of containment or origin for said noun.

Nursery is okay. That's legit. So is nunnery.

I don't hate any words or phrases. Words are my friends. I love them all. I just hate the uneducated people who abuse them, misspell them and/or use them inappropriately.

    "Ginger"

If one more person calls my boys "Gingers" I am going to punch them in the kidney!

Besides the spice ginger is "white." Makes no sense.

Yes Yes Yes!!!! I am so sick of people calling me a Ginger or asking me stupid questions like I am somehow another species!

    "git er' done"
"just sayin' <<< I absolutely hate that, people say rude things and then say just sayin' like its ok to be a total *****. Uhh no, you're rude!

"yolo" <<< I hate that people use it as a stupid excuse to do even stupider things. Some guy raped a girl and when he was asked when he did it, he said yolo -_-

I agree with quite a few of those, but there's one set I haven't seen, so I'll add it.

    Should of
    would of
    could of

ARGH, it's should have, would have, could have, which is contracted to should've, could've, and would've.

    Discharge.
LOL! I work for a healthcare organization doing work on the website. When speaking in terms of when someone is released from the hospital, we use to use the phrase "Discharge date". But many people didn't like the word "discharge", so we changed the text to be "Date released from the hospital"

    So, you are not alone!

well one is descriptive of the tummy itself--so pregnant and baby bump aren't exactly synonymous.
