Not exactly new...

I actually joined back in July 2010 and I was pretty successful( lost over 50lbs) until I hit my first road block. After running (at 300+) I developed bursitis in my hips ( which has never seemed to heal in 2 years). I had been training for my first ever half marathon and had recently run over 7 miles but then i got hurt missed my run and then kind of fell off the face of the earth or health track I guess. I have Fibromyalgia and unfortunately it is like a megaphone for pain! So when I am hurt or even not injured or sick I have a considerable amount of pain on a daily basis. I know what I want in life, at least regarding my health. I want to be able to live my life and not just watch it as it passes by. I do not want to let fibro stop me from accomplishing my goals of being a healthy and happy individual. I have tried several times since April 2011 to get back on track and nothing seems to last. I think it may be mostly fear. Fear of what it is going to take to accomplish my goals, fear of the pain both physically and emotionally I will endure during the journey. I am tired of feeling like a failure so I am just going to have to do something about it!!!
When I started in July 2010 I was 333 I got down to 283 in April 2011 and in September 2012 got back up to 330. The last time I weighed Saturday 9/29/12 I was 327.6. I have many goals right now but my weight goal is to get to 180lbs, which means I will need to lose around 150lbs. After that my goal is to get to a healthy "normal" BMI- this means I would need to lose almost 180lbs.... I am not going to worry about that part yet I want to focus on my first goal the 180... I know that will be hard enough.
I know having support has been very helpful in the past. If we were friends before and you unfriended me due to me being MIA I hope you will friend me again. You were all so helpful and motivational. If we haven't been friends before I think I need the support now more then ever! Feel free to friend me!
