ditch that scale!

The scale is not always the best way to measure progress. Sometimes we need to ditch the scale to see the progress we are making. Even if you never share your before pictures, take them for yourself to compare side by side. You won't regret it. Clearly, you can see I was not thrilled to be taking the first picture, but to me, it was worth it getting to compare where I came from to where I am now. Don't worry so much what your scale says, because that is not always the best way to measure success. Proof below.... weight went up, but body fat and clothing size went down.

great minds! And, your welcome! Most people would have guessed I was heavier in the first pictures, but nope. I just lost body fat, therefore appearing to weigh less.

she took the picture in a mirror guy.

well, the ones facing you are taken by someone else and the ones on the opposite side were taken by myself with my cell phone in a mirror.... trust me, ALL me. There are plenty more on my FB and BB pages. I don't know how to use or believe in Photoshop.

Not trying to start anything because your results are fantastic: but a tatoo on your right side will always be on your right side. This was done before on here. I don't know if it was by you. It's a nice trick and alot of fun.

Thank you for your compliments, but a picture taken by oneself in a mirror (opposite of me) with a cell phone will create the allusion that the tattoo has jumped to the other side of my body.

I challenge you to put a sticker on your shirt on the right side, have someone take a picture of you face on, then you take the picture yourself in the mirror with a cell phone. Then, tell me if its not the same as these pictures.

no, right hand - see no ring on hand? The camera is in the right hand. The tattoo is still on the left side of my body where it was since the day I got it.
  • Well since your arm didn't move the tatoo did. Nice job! Keep up the good work. That was fun.

    You look incredible! :flowerforyou:

Moving tattoos are accomplished with magic tricks involving smoke and mirrors. Minus the smoke. And the magic. I'm amazed not everyone realized that.
  • First post ever... the camera was in her right hand - no magic necessary!
