  • I'm pretty sure if it is your own birthday that the cake and ice cream are actually calorie-free! Happy (late) birthday! :flowerforyou:

    Things that don't have calories:

    Birthday treats
    Buffets
    Any holiday or party
    Any food that is free
Random treats leftover in break room at work
Anything you eat after working out

I think that's part of the reason why I gained so much weight lol.

My birthday was Sunday. I ate anything I wanted on Saturday & Sunday and just logged it anyway. I went way over and didn't exercise at all but I find that logging it makes me think about the rest of the week following and keeps me motivated when I look over the long term.

BTW, I tend to have a treat day once a month or so anyway and treat them all the same way. I figure if it's a lifestyle change then I need give myself a day or two to get it all out of my system each month and splurge on the things I never eat otherwise.

Hell no. Your own birthday cake has no calories - proven fact.
