Fruits and vegetables, and lean protein to fill you up. Before dairy started breaking me out, I ate and drank a lot of it as a way of getting healthy calories that kept me full for awhile.
Also, upping your calories might help you start losing again. I know it sounds counter-intuitive, but if your weight loss has stalled at 1200, it may be your body's way of telling you you're not eating enough.0 -

^ this...try upping your cals to around 1400-1500 and see what happens for a month. Your body is conserving b/c you're not feeding it enough0 -
This.
Also, we can't really offer more concrete suggestions unless we know a little more. How long did it take you to lose what you did, and how long has it been since you've stopped losing? How much activity do you get in during the day? You'll also need to open up your food diary.0 -

I do protein shakes and try to eat clean,
I grill alot of chicken beast, I stream veggies, I allow my self carbs but try to stick to brown rice,
I never deprive because that's when I get crazy with binging. I watch my caloric intake
Hmmm I keep hard boiled eggs and apples handy for snacks... Stuff like that, hope this helped^^0 -

LOL! Bacon, cream cheese, butter, skirt steak, salmon, walnuts... all sounds good to me.
I mean, for weight loss it really doesnt matter as long as you hit your macros for the day. Though for general health purposes may be different.

I've been trying to lose weight for a year now, and I've used a lot of different methods to do so. But I could never stay bellow 150 until recently. My main problem is that I've always eaten when my body says to, and i never considered the difference between when I was hungry versus when I was craving something. Because of that, my stomach capacity expanded, not eating according to my body's demands makes me tired and irritable. I decided that in order to lose weight, I had to focus on lowering my appetite and before I eat I ask myself if I'm really hungry or if I'm just craving it. Its amazing how often I catch myself about to grab something to eat when I'm not actually hungry. When I am hungry, I choose something healthy, or a small portion than what i'd usually grab. I like to change what I eat up from time to time instead of the same old healthy foods. I choose alternatives for breakfast like eating canned fruit, and instead of buying ice cream I grab a yogurt. I've been at a steady 140 for the last week, which is amazing to me because I only started paying more attention in the last month. And even more interesting is that Its not as hard to say no to snack foods, or seconds. I still crave, and because I work in a grocery store and its the month of Halloween its really hard not to splurge. But I just keep saying no, no matter how much I want it.0
