CLX, P90X, Insanity .. do you workout on your 'day off' ?

Hey guyz !!
I have started CLX 2 weeks ago and today is my 'day off'..
I kinda feel guilty I'm not gonna exercise !?
Do you do other workouts on your off days or you just take it and relax ?

    rest days are important especially when doing any form of plan that requires resistance training. you NEED them. you can do some moderate cardio such as going for a brisk walk but thats about it.
  • I do p90x. I wouldn't say I'm totally sedentary on my rest day. I typically am catching up on housework, shopping, or yard work. But I do try to relax. Those are used for muscle recovery so take advantage of what the experts have given you.:)

    I know what you mean about feeling guilty but that rest day is there for a reason! Maybe go for a nice gentle walk, bike ride or swim?

    yeah I took it easy, did a bit of cleaning and danced in the basement studio last night ( my oldest son and my bf are dj's ) hehe
    its just such a change from the 'go go go!!' all week..
    With CLX and also Zumba 3 x / week at lunchtime.. when I get to the day off it just feels strange :)
    I'll listen to the experts tho :)
