To those just starting, it gets much easier! I was absolutely dying on day 1, and now on day 7 I can go the whole way through without stopping doing the 'harder' moves (except for the push up, I still have to do a modified version of that). Also, as a warning, I 'gained' weight (ie I'm assuming water retention) when I started doing the DVD, so don't get discouraged if you see the scale move up a couple pounds initially :)

I am on my first week of level 3. I love it! I feel like I get good cardio and definitely toning up. It does get easier. You are in control. If you cheat or rest you only cheat yourself. If you push yourself and hang in there you will see change quickly. In a couple of weeks, after my body has adjusted to level 3, I am going to start ripped in 30. I will hang on to my 30DS and mix it in once I have gone through all 4 levels of ripped in 30. Can't wait to keep going forward and see what results come next!

I started 30 day shred last night...i have to admit it was much harder than i thought it was going to be!! but i pushed myself through to the end of the 20 min workout and i was proud of my self for actually finishing it! I dont think i have ever really finished a whole workout of any dvd..but im determined and i cant wait to see my results at the end of the 30days :) Has anyone else started 30ds in the past few days or going to start? tell me what you think about it....and we can all check back in here when we finish to show off our results :) if anyone has already done it..tips? your story? before and after pics? i could use the motivation!!

I just started it today and it kicked my butt.. I didn't think it was gonna be a challenge being 20 minutes and all but it really gets u tired.

  • Hi! I am about halfway through level 1, will be starting level 2 on friday :)
  • Oh and I take one day breaks simply because I need a rest day. I work out 2 times a day though :)
  • I've been doing 30 day shred for about 2 months now and just started level three...I have noticed that I have shaved inches from my hips and have toned my stomach..don't move on until your ready, level three is tuff and I just took my time until I was ready to move on..Good luck

Prior to my injury & surgery I had gotten 1/2 way through it. I love it, and it does get better after the first few days. I can't wait to get back to it.

I just finished day 30 on friday. I only skipped 2 days I loved it and you get pretty good results for only 30 days. I actually think I liked level 3 the best. I will go back to it and do it again but right now I am ready to move onto something else. Jullian gets a bit boring after awhile I am ready to hear another voice

I started over again on Friday with the 30DS after being taking my sweet time and being on level one for almost 3 months. figured I should step my game up and get the dvd done in a better time frame to get the best and full benefits of the program. Im now on level 1 day4 (for the 2nd time around)

YAY! i can already tell my body is getting better at working out lol cant wait for day 30 to see what changes my body makes :)

I'm new here on MFP. I am on day 10 of my diet and I've lost 2.5 lbs. Its probably all water weight. I want to start working out. I found 30DS on youtube. If I start with that now, will I get scared off? I mean, is it too much too soon?

I came across the 30 day shred videos on youtube. My thinking is that if I can get through 30 days doing this program, it will help me develop the habit of working out regularly. I'm glad to find others taking on this challenge!
