I have managed to keep to my limit for 2.5 days so far, but I know the weekend will be tough. Would love to add some friends to keep me motivated to get to my goal.
Anyone out there I can add please???

Hey hey,
It's only the weekend, not the end of the world. A lot of people tend to relax their diets for weekend, I'm not one of them but some find it beneficial to have a mini break/cheat day.
If you wish to be added then here I am0 -
It's ok. Don't fret about it too much. It's only 2 days.
If you need a friend, feel free to use me.:happy:0 -

Add me! I like to relax my diet a bit on weekends, if only for dinner. I try to keep to the plan and eat less for breakfast and lunch to lighten the calorie load for the day. Good luck!0

You can add me too. I know how you feel about weekends, especially when you've only just started your diet.0

Welcome to the boards! You have definitely come to the right place and there are plenty of people to help you along the way. Weekends are tough for a lot of people but I suggest logging into MFP on the weekends, busy yourself with the boards and track EVERYTHING, even if you go over. That is super important so if you are having trouble later on you can look back and see where your pitfall might be and make a change. Take it one day at a time, eventually it won't seem like a chore more than something you look forward to doing!0

Add.
Offer open to all in this blog as well.
Fairly new myself.

I'm the same at weekends.. If I'm not working then ill usually set my goal to maintenance & with some added exercise calories you'll have plenty to play with. If I'm out with friends though I don't bother logging as I wanna enjoy myself & not let this control my life!!.. 1 day off won't hurt0

Feel free to add me! I've only been at this for two weeks, but I'm starting to lose my enthusiasm a bit too.0

Feel free to add me, there's nothing wrong with having a little more encouragement, :-) Weekends are kinda rough but you can do it!0

You can add me if you like. Started at the end of August and was doing well - lost 7lb in 3 weeks, then got ill and put 3lb back on, haven't quite managed to get back on track yet!! In need of a little encouragement x0

A lifestyle change is a marathon, not a sprint. You're off to a great start. As Dory says in the movie "Finding Nemo", "just keep swimming".
Feel free to add me. Always glad to have another person who's walking the same path I am.0 -
Don't treat it like a time limit. Just focus on losing weight the healthy way. I have an issue were I am always below my calorie intake. But pick three things to "cheat with" in moderation. For instance, I gave up bread ....I LOVE bread...so over the weekend I'll eat a few pieces of pumpernickel bread or rye bread...and i used to give myself two sodas over the weekend but now I drink water over the week and two or three diet sodas over the weekend. It all comes with time (: You're gonna do great, just stay determined!0

you can do it! i take a full cheat day once a week, no logging anything. i've lost nearly 40 pounds that way. for the first six months of my lifestyle change, i was pretty strict all week long, but now that i'm nearly at maintenance i've relaxed it a bit while still trying to stick to my numbers.
the first month was the hardest for me, but it gets easier, i promise0 -
Just started up myself. Lost 97 pounds in 2009 and put back on 40 so starting back with the basics. It can be so hard when you are doing it alone. Feel free to add me, could probably use the motivation myself0
