There are many reasons why I am here...I ordinarily do not 'join' groups or teams but this virtual forum suits me just fine, as I can take all of you with me wherever I go for inspiration and accountability.
I've known I needed to become healthier for many reasons:
a: my rear end starts the auto hand-towels in the public rest rooms (frieken hate that)
b: my thighs clap for me as I walk up and down the stairs (weirdly motivational)
c: my belly has become a lap warmer (not attractive in the least)
d: my spandex roll down my waist like blinds every time I sit down (seriously??! anyone else has had this experience?)
e: I have had to stop wearing pantyhose in case of forest fires because of the friction (mildly theatrical, but they are excruciatingly uncomfortable.)
f: I can wave good-bye thrice, with my hand, arm flaps, and mid section (true story)
The list goes on and on and on....humor is what keeps me smiling through it all, I love that about me. However, a healthier
me is what I strive for.
Sooooo (my favorite one liner)...join me in this fight, the more the merrier! Add me at your convenience for ****s and giggles (hopefully the latter and not the other).

Hi: I love this. You are right weight loss does need to be done with a sense of humor and you are ahead of the game. I do laughter yoga one night a week and do you know that 20 minutes of hearty laughter is a cardio workout? Good luck!0

I love your sense of humor. That's the only way to keep a good attitude during this journey. Good for you.0

I hear you on the spandex roll down, which in my case always seems to be combined with a shirt creep up. Not attractive.
I just joined yesterday and I'd be happy to pal up with you. Humor is critical, especially the ability to laugh at oneself.0
