50% Carbs, 25% Protein and 25% Fat...what do you think?

Looking for a good daily breakdown to use as a goal. I definitely need to work on my sodium intake but that's another issue. I though of bringing carbs lower and upping the protein but since I'm a vegetarian I'm not sure I'll be able to do that. Plus, I need to reassess the meat substitutes I eat because they are apparently loaded with sodium and right now they are my source of protein. Anyway, thoughts on these goals would be helpful, thanks!

50% carbs would make me gain weight like there's no tomorrow, but everyone is different.

I've been do it and have no trouble loosing at all. I find it much easier to stick to too because I find lowering the carbs too boring and I get sick of eating so much protein!0

I do 50/25/25 right now, which is actually fewer carbs than I ate before MFP - working my way down...next stop, 45/30/250
