I'm new...what does it mean when people write bump in their comment? Does it somehow save it for them to look at later?

i always wondered too but felt stupid for asking haha, thank you for having the courage to ask haha.

when someone puts 'bump' not only does it move the post back up to the top of the message boards, but it will leave that post in their feeds so they can go back and see it later without having to find the thread again.

    Age: 25
    SW: 189 - March 2012
    CW: 139.6 - August 2012
    GW: 130

I started losing weight after gaining ten within three weeks due to birth control. I had weighed around 175 - 185 for the previous ten years. I went off the hormones and committed myself to losing the weight while getting all of my best girlfriends as well as my family involved.

My original goal weight was 145 but, after reaching the goal, I realized there is a lot of fat that still needs to be toned and gone.

I am 5'6" and will turn 50 in April. I have a hard time posting pictures here but I have updated pictures in my profile. I reached my halfway mark 8 days ago. I started at 224 and currently weigh 185. I want to have another 15 LBS off by Christmas and the remaining off by my birthday. If I can do this, anyone can!

I started on here n the 1st of March, my loss has been relatively slow but consistently lost almost every week.

To start with I was doing mainly running, I lost a lot of weight but mainly off my top half, in July I started boot camp; high intensity interval circuits and this is when my body really started firming p and losing inches off my belly, hips and bum.

Once I lose the last 9lbs going to switch to more resistance training to build some muscle!

I work out 5 times a week but try to keep it really varied so don't get bored.

    Hope this helps x

Sorry, really wasn't my intention. I just meant to make a joke that photo cropping is easier than dieting. But looking again I see it was in bad taste. I don't shame anyone for being overweight. I was overweight.

Hi, I'm 5'6 and I started at 252 in June 2012 and am now 201, I'd like to be around 180 for my birthday on February 25th 2013 and then reach my goal of 150 in June 2013 (exactly a year after I started). I cut out chocolate and crisps and pretty much all junk food, I eat as clean as possible with lots of protein, fruit and veggies. From doing zero exercise a few months ago, I now work out 5 days a week and walk every day at work. I have another 50lbs to lose, but I know I can do it, I'm never going back!

My family has a long history of heart disease and complications, which is always in the back of my mind. I've changed my lifestyle for me, for my own self-esteem and confidence, but also because of my knowledge of my families health history. Having a strong heart is important! :drinker:

I loved reading through everyones stories, they are incredibly inspiring. We can achieve anything if we put our mind to it and stay dedicated!
