    Amy - yes, it's time to get those brakes done!
    Emmie - It's seem i know a ton of people getting over an ugly cold this year. Lot's of coughing and congestion. I try to stay away from them! Just lot's of rest!

    Hi ladies,
    Awesome job on all the wonderful losses and maintainers. For those of us that might have a gained a little, we'll keep kicking butt.

    Sorry I haven't been around. These hormones have put me down under something fierce. Now back in pain, and working these stupid chemicals out of my body, but feeling positive now that I might actually get my body and mind back. DH is frustrated because he hates for me to be in pain, but at least that will only effect my family 6 days out of 5 weeks instead of everyday like it has for the past month. Already lost a couple of pounds (might be because I'm not constantly shoving food in my face), although my energy level is still down. Hopefully I'll be back on track for the next challenge.

    I'm always lurking, but sorry for not participating. You guys, as always, are an awesome inspiration. Several times I thought about just quitting, and then I'd come here and read your day to day activities, ups and downs, and realized that we are in this together and can do this. So thank you guys so much.

    Hey sixers, only have a minute, I have my first meeting with a personal trainer today, its the complimentary one that comes with the new membership to the kickarse gym. I have not been doing well since saturday, went over cals on sat while babysitting, sunday I went up north snowboarding with the fam, had an amazing day and ate all the wrong things, monday we were snowed in and it was no surprise to see i was up .8 on tuesday. Well I was also feeling super bloated and six yesterday, so I decided to remember my weigh in and try again this morning. I did, and WAHOOO 204.8 showed up on my scale. I AM SOOOO CLOSE TO BEING OUT OF THE 200's I CAN TASTE IT!!! This weigh in this morning gave me back my motivation. I didnt finish week four of C25K so I am going to do it AGAIN this week. Well wish me luck with the trainer @ 9, then exorcise after that followed by going to school. So I will hopefully be able to update and do personals around 1 or so.

    I cheated and checked again today and am back at my 177. SO...I'm sticking to that! I thought I was hanging onto some water...which is what I think it was. NOW...time to lose another pound or two before the end of this challenge!!!!

    looks like everyone is doing great. the gains will be gone before you know it. mine did.

    just hanging around. have nutrition class today. not doing the big advanced group workout after. next week i will.

    Hi friends,
    Just checking in. I think the med's (both thyroid & antibiotic) are kickin in. My energy level is coming back and the depression feeling is pretty much gone. YaY!!! I have been doing well on food choices and keeping myself under calories along with working out at least a couple of times per day to get this weight gain OFF! When I say under calories I mean I do not eat all my exercise calories! I fill a half gallon jug of water and set it on the counter to make sure it is gone by dinner time. I know I do not have that much weight to lose but even 5 pounds feels horrible and is super hard to lose right now! But I am not going to be "NEGATIVE" (like Alison is changing) but try to stay optimistic and positive, eventually I will be feeling better and lighter soon! Have a freat day!

    Wow ...e veryone is doing SO GREAT ! ....
    WE just got back home this afternoon.... after a 10 day vaca with a 18 month old ... I am tired lol .... but i had a great time ....

    BACK ON TRACK 100% tomorrow.... with water, working out, and eating healthy! I will weigh in on Friday ! no matter what the scale says ! hehe !

    Hey ladies... I'm up a 1/2 lb and I really have removed one lb this challenge. Sometimes it can get depressing HOWEVER, I know I've made healthy changes and I know I workout hard so I'll just wait for my body to adjust to where I'm living. LOL... Im more like 185 lbs in my head. LOL. Anyway, I did a great Step class today and then ate an earlier than usual salad dinner tonight. I'm gonna be on my best behavior because SAT is my Bday and I'll be 29 sooooooo I'm gonna enjoy the weekend with no rules. LOL, because after that I will be in MAJOR get FINE BEFORE 30 mode. :)

    Verda- I so feel your pain! I am glad you are feeling better because feeling even slightly depressed can change your outlook. I think you are using a healthy approach and will be back to where you like being, in no time. You still keep me motivated!

    Cathy- Let me know how it goes at the nutritionist. I'm sure you will enjoy the week away from the trainer but try to do some practice things at home so you will be ready for him. Keep up the great work!!

    I just wanted to make a quick comment. So, I have been eating my homemade bread with homemade ricotta on it every morning for breakfast, and usually for lunch I have a can of soup or something like that, and a yogurt. Today, I brought a frozen dinner for lunch, which I normally think tastes just fine, but this one actually tasted bad to me. (Not spoiled, just low quality and boring.) I think my taste buds are just getting pickier from eating so much delicious homemade food!

    Also, I'm not saying it's all about being mentally more positive, but I had a busy and great day at work today. After two days of being very bored, today I got some real work assignments and plans for so much more interesting stuff that I will be doing. My office is in a beautiful old house, and most of the attorneys are on the 2nd and 3rd floors, but I've got a basement office, so no one ever knows I'm there, which is why I was getting bored just reviewing documents all day long without any human interaction. I was positive and persistent and had my boss sit down with me today and actually give me some sort of game plan for my work. Yay! I actually like being in the basement though because it means that I can leave my door open and listen to the radio online all day long without bothering anyone. There are other offices down with me, but they're not close enough to hear my music.

    Well, I just don't get what's going on with my body. It seems like I'm gaining and losing 7lbs every 2 weeks and the numbers don't add up :(
    Tomorrow I'm waking bright at early (5am... 3 hours earlier than usual!) to get to the gym and back before Kyle has to go to work. I'm going to see how that routine will work for my son who still nurses a lot toward wake-up time. I hope he can sleep. So, wish me luck with that!

    Congrats on all the losses! Sorry I'm not caught up with personals, I've been watching the Olympics constantly! lol We had SUCH an amazing time during our day in Vancouver and it looks like we're going back next weekend. More soon in the way of personals I hope!

    Hello! I think my new approach to weight loss & fitness is actually working! I've been concentrating on my exercise and water intake to increase my energy level. It's been a week now, and I'm starting to notice how much better I'm feeling. I have more energy and am more alert than I used to be. I'm getting up to the point where I'm walking 2 miles a day, which is a lot for me. My legs are stiff, but they're feeling a little better each day. :smile: Plus, I'm getting a few extra foot rubs from dh. Hmmm ... think he'll get suspicious if my feet are still "sore" a year from now?

    Cathy - How did it go with the trainer?

    Tamm - Tiff is in my prayers. I'm sure she'll do great on her test!

    Hey girls ....
    back as promised .....

    Weighed in this mornin ..... 266 .......
    which means 2 lbs up (still think its alot of fluid....) ..... from my vaca ! haha !
    Thats no problem... ill work hard between NOW... and TUESDAYS official weigh in ! .... haha ! Want to make some progress this weekend ! I bought a new leslie sansone 5 mile dvd..... the WII MY SHAPE to try out ..... and the new WII fit PLUS ! im excited !

    so heres my weekend plan:

    1. DRINK LOADS OF WATER DAILY
    2. GET IN at least 30 mins of the WII FIT each day
    3. DO a leslie sansone walk with my new 2 lb ball weights
    4. do at least ONE FIRM workout cuz ive missed it oh so much!
    5. last but not least, BURN LOTS OF calories.... and EAT HEALTHY!

    That should do the trick .... I want tuesdays weigh in to be AWESOME !
