No More Trouble Zones?

I'm looking for another dvd to do alongside my current workout and was just wondering what No More Trouble Zones is like? I enjoyed Jillian's 30 day shred, and like her circuit 3-2-1 technique. Also, is this a workout with different levels and a certain number of days? Or just one workout?

Thanks :)

    Hi,

I've got this DVD, and its a fantastic workout! Burns a lot of calories and really does make a difference. She uses weights on this one, and there is no stopping. It took a few attempts and a bit of effort for me to get through this, but if perservered you will see great results!

Its one workout, there are no levels to it - its about 45mins long.

I also recommend, "Banish Fat & Boost Metabolism"

    Good luck :)

Thanks for the tips :) So it's a continuous workout, no time limit like the 30 days in the shred?

No, its just continuous, no time limit, or monthly workouts for X amount of time :) - So you could pair it with something else. I've a lot of her workouts and they are all fab. I love Jillian's workouts

    You're welcome :) - hope you enjoy it :)

RIpped in 30 and Extreme shed and Shred follow the same format as 30 day shred. NMTZ is a strength program and people usually alternate it with the cardio workout Banish Fat Boost Metabolism. That said, I like NTMZ for all the reasons my husband dislikes it- she cues continuously, changes circuits rapidly, and takes no breaks between circuits (similar to 30DS).

I guess I'll just do it til I get bored of the workout! Then mix it up, maybe move on to ripped in 30 after that.

I already run for cardio, on the penultimate week of couch to 5k, up to 28 minutes running and entering a 5K race in 3 weeks!! So I'd rather balance that with more strength, so NMTZ sounds perfect :)

I enjoy the fact that she doesn't let you rest, and the constant talking is quite good because she's explaining how to get proper form on the moves!

I am a total Jillian Michaels convert!

I love NMTZ. I like BFBM as well, but that's more cardio based, while NMTZ is mainly weigths and abs.

No More Trouble Zones is great! Jillian Michaels recommends doing it 5 days a week but I didn't follow that. I mixed it in with the gym and only did it a few days a week. It takes about 50 minutes each time. I LOVE the ab moves in it. You really feel it working!

Think I'm going to stick to 3 times a week, alongside running 3 times, and one swim day.

Sounds like it's got positive reviews from everyone! Looking forward to getting to grips with it :drinker:
  • I just started NMTZ. I use 10 lbs weights and 5-7 lbs. For my weaker muscles. She says to only use 3 lbs but I like a good challenge as long as it doesn't affect the quality of my reps. I noticed better results by doing so. I am only on week two of it and am doing it 4 to 5 times a week. I also plan on doing her Blast Fat dvd 3 times week to help build up my endurance. Maybe this will help you. Good luck. Keep us posted!
