Height 5ft 2
Age: 36
I eat 1400 cals a day on average, up to 1800 on gym days. Never under 1200. Gym twice a week, a lot of walking, and any other excersise I feel like doing at the time, usually EA Sports Active 2 or 30 day shred. I have an elliptical as well, but the only thing I've been using that for recently is hanging clothes on! A terrible waste, I know!0 -
I was also stuck in the mid 140s forever.. I wonder why it's a magic # for us, haha.0

5'2, hovering around 140. I did get down to 137, and would really like to be at 130.0

I'm 5' 1.5, started at 176.8 one month ago, weighed in at 161.8 yesterday, set my goal for 115 but that might be way too low for my age....51. Haven't been below 140 in many many many years. Usually get to around 145 and weight loss stops and I give up and gain it all back. Right now I'm trying very low carbs....(primal). Just started yesterday so will see how it goes. Good luck to all...I'm exercising most days but only 20-30 minutes a day.0

I am 5'2 and currently weigh 134 pounds. My goal is to weigh 125 pounds. In the past I was 148 pounds and lost it. I was stuck so I joined MFP0

I'm 5'2.5 and several years ago I went from about 148 down to 125. I maintained that for a little over a year and then slowly gained to a high of 180.5. My goal is 115-120 this time around and I plan to stay there.
Anyone feel free to add me.0 -
I'm 5'2.5" (if that extra half an inch matters). I started MFP last summer at a post-partum (twins) weight at 193 and got down 20lbs by November. Then I injured my knee and put it all back on with depressed chocolate binges and inactivity. Booooo! I started to get my act back in shape in April, but I was stalling for a while.
I got a Fitbit at the beginning of August, and I'm down to 172, back to where I was before I hurt my knee. Now I'm just thinking about moving forward. I'm almost at pre-baby weight, and then I've got another 40 or so that I want to get off, but I'm strategizing in chunks. I know that I'll get frustrated and overwhelmed if I think about how much time and work it is, so I'm looking at it like a marathon, not a sprint, and taking it day by day.
Anyone can feel free to add me!0 -
Right about 5'2.5, highest weight was 170 but weighed 163 when I started logging.
I'm 120 now and looking to be 110-115lbs, that's not set in stone, mostly focusing on bf %.0 -
Also 5'2 here! Been on plan since end of March and hoping to be at goal by Halloween (if not sooner)!0

I am 5'2" and my highest weight was 151 in July 2011...was around 148 in December 2011. Then down to 144 in February 2012. That's when I joined MFP and am down to 135...have been holding steady there for about a month now, but have added weights and changed my diet up the past week. Am hoping to see great results!0

I'm 5'2" (pushing 5'3") and I'm about 100 lb (i don't weight myself anymore, but last time i did this was my weight, and i'm pretty much the same now". I don't want to get bashed here by anyone about my weight, because i know many people think that's super low but i don't look sickly at all. I am a recovered ED and this is the weight i just stay at now, eating about 1200 (more/less sometimes, naturally depending on the day)calories a day (i basically am always eating throughout the day, vegetarian meals and a bunch of snacks) and either walking, running (i am a runner), doing yoga, pilates, gym, for at least 40 minutes a day. But to me i still have yet to get rid of the little soft spots, I've always been pretty lean from once running cross country and always being active, but it seems like no matter how much i work out my abs or arms or anything i just stay looking the same! It bothers me and I've always wondered if it's just from being short, so i figured i'd post on here about it. Good luck to all the fellow shorties on their way or maintaining their goal healthiness! xx0

I'm about 5'1, but it's close to 5'2 ... and I'm trying to lose the last 15ish lbs!
*BEFORE are my senior pictures from 2005 (where I was around my heaviest at 185+ lbs)
*AFTER are all taken this year, 2012 (where I have been hovering 130 lbs)

I'm 5'2'' as well (on a good day ) and MFP has worked so awesomely for me!
I have lost 10% of my body weight in the past 3 months and am really happy with the results so far, but have a ways to go! The exercise is important (especially for heart health) but remember that your diet is most of the work. There were weeks when I didn't work out (I work 80 hour weeks pretty frequently and those weeks are really challenging in terms of work out time) and still lost weight because I kept my calories at my BMR.
Good luck! MFP is great!0 -
I'm 5'2", 38. I started with mfp mid-January at 168, currently 145 with a gw of 130. I've completed 2 rounds of Supreme 90, before that was a combo of gym, bike riding, hiking, 30 day shred. I've been loving eating more to weigh less since July. I am eating around 1720 cal/day now adding more to stay above bmr if needed (up from 1620 while doing Supreme 90 and that's up from the mfp recommended 1200) and I have just finished up week 1 of p90x and may up my calories some more, I wanted to try this amount for a week or 2 of p90x before adjusting again.0
