... just off the top of my head without any thought.

I would bet my next month's paycheck that this entire post was off the top of your head without any thought.

how was your post off the top of HER head?

I wasn't referring to my post being off the top of her head. I meant her initial post seemed as if it was just spur of the moment and off the top of her head. There wasn't much thought put into it.

I will say from personal opinion that the SEC is the top conference out there but it is not leaps and bounds ahead of all of the other conferences. Big 12 play is not too much off from there if not even. <--- That statement is not coming from me but from sports writters that are experts int he game. Do I like watching me some SEC football....hell I like any college football but the SEC is fun to watch. Again are they the conference to beat....for sure....are they wwwaaayyy ahead of everyone else. I do not think so. Not only will the NC game tell who is #1 but all of the other bowl games to be played will tell all. Best of luck to all conferences.

I found something interesting here. The computers put the EC as the #2 conference...after the Big12. Although it is a couple weeks old it is still valid.

Interesting link. It'll be cool to see how it ends up after the final whistle is blown. Thanks for sharing!

The ACC's overall rating was 57.2 and the SEC was 94.4 - that's a HUGE disparity between 2nd place and 4th place, especially considering that the SEC trails the 1st place conference by less than 1 point! See my previous post...the person that started this thread by trash talking the SEC (she's a Va Tech fan) could've used this information before she called all SEC fans narrow-minded.

Yeah all of the other conferences have not been able to keep up with the pace of the SEC other then the Big 12. Over the past couple seasons I keep track of most the major conferences and usually the SEC and Big12 are back and forth with the SEC of course winning the NC game.

I love the SEC because of that overwhelming smell of bourbon and whiskey that hits you in the face like a 500 pound hammer the moment you enter one of those Southern stadiums. Good lord...talk about a contact buzz! And don't even get me started on the women...my lord...those sweet and sassy Southern women. Just makes ya wanna smack your granny.
  • LSU is crap
    UF is garbage

It's very possible that Oregon, USC, and Notre Dame could all beat Bama.
And just because South Carolina beat a not great UGA doesn't mean they're good either. They lose to Clemson by 20.

Look for it to be the first time in a while that a SEC team doesn't win the title.

    :)

Yikes but UF is still undefeated for now. And of course an SEC team will win the National Championship.

Undated rankings from ESPN. The computers have the Big 12 as #1 and the SEC as #2 but the human polls are reversed. All other conferences are way off pace...
