Hello, I also started CX on October 1st. Feel free to add so we can motivate each other. Right now I am using 6lb, 8lb and 10 lb. Is that considered too light? I can see some of you are lifting way more than me.
According to Chalene, you should be lifting heavy. Though, the term "heavy" is different for each person. In the Burn Circuit videos, Laylee's weights range from 3 to 10 lbs. As for me, for the burn circuit videos, the lightest I use is 7.5 and the heaviest is 17.5. But I've been doing a lot of strength training before I started Chalean Extreme. Hope this helps!0 -

I'm really looking into ordering this system, how many different size weights do you need? Right now I only have 5, 10 and 15lb dumbells. If I invest the money into the system I won't really be able to get many more weights right away. Do I have what I would need to get started at least?0

Bxrlvr73 The weights you have right now will be good for now ..you may like to get a set in between the 5 and 10 though. I have been doing this program for 5 months and also use 20 pounds but really should get some 25's yet. Good luck!0

Just got my CLX in the mail today and can't wait to start! I just did Insanity..didn't quite make it to the end before getting bored..but saw some amazing results..I think I will throw in some of the Insanity workouts with CLX. I'm super excited!!!!0

I started with the same ones you have. I bought 3s and 8s after a couple weeks. You might want 3s for the warm up weight for the Burn Phase and the Intervals DVD. I'm in Push now and I know I need 20s for my legs. 15s just aren't heavy enough.0
