Hello, I'm new here. I've gained ten pounds over the summer and seven percent body fat. I used to have a 27.5 in waist and a 38 in butt. I went up to a 31 in waist and a 45 inch butt.
As you can see inches matter more to me than pounds. I actually wish I could have input a goal waistline instead of a goal weight. Before I've always joked about weight loss saying that my goal is to lose a pound of fat and gain 2 pounds of muscle.
After being sedentary for a summer that has become less of a joke and more of a goal.
Here's how I hope it will go, I will exercise and diet my fat of below my target weight while still not quite reaching my target inches. Then I will start to gain muscle weight, lose inches, and hit the number I had after two months of doing peak conditioning.

Welcome to MFP! Feel free to add me, I love motivating others as it motivates me in return.
This is a great tool for weight loss, you just need to use it properly. Remember to log EVERYTHING, including fruit and vegies.
And get moving. Even if it's a short walk everyday, every bit helps and you feel a lot healthier and more motivated quicker!0
