40lbs Lost So Far..

On 26th May this year I made the decision to lose weight & do it seriously this time.. no messing, no gaining it all back again. I gained way too much weight when pregnant with my second child & since then I've been overweight, but it got to the point earlier this year (after 3 pregnancies) where I found myself getting into the obese category, with a BMI of 30.1.
I've made big changes since then; I don't over-eat anymore & I'm fitter than I've ever been in my life. I do a lot of walking & run a few times a week. I don't go to the gym, everything I do is at home. I have MFP to thank for a lot of it.. I love this site!!
I'm 6ft tall & my starting weight was 220lbs (15 stone 10) & now I'm at 180lbs (12 stone 12). I still want to lose 20lbs but for now I'm trying to love my body as it is now. I still see certain parts of my body as "fat", though.
In the first pic my outfit is a size 18 & in the second pic my outfit is a size 14. My BMI is now 24.7 so I'm finally into the "healthy" category after more than 4 years

Fantastic job! I'm about the same height as you and I'm just now getting to where your starting point was. I have a similar end goal, but seeing you where you are at now I may raise my end goal, you look wonderful. :flowerforyou:0

I am 6'2" and started last September at 250 lbs. (size 18 or 20) I am down to 217lbs now and just bought a pair of size 14 jeans!!! My first goal is 195 and then I will figure thigns out from there, since I am also gaining muscle and want to take that into account. I am hoping to get down to at LEAST a size 12!!
GREAT JOB so far!!!!0 -

You look knock out!! Fantastic job!! I am 6 f 1.5 inches tall, ans started out Feb 1 at 226, and am down to about 196 - goal of 180. I am at a BMI of 25.3 - about 5 pounds to go to get to that Healthy BMI status - but I feel like lately it is barely coming off - Do you have any tips for me? I have my setting for 1.5 pounds lost per week, I work out - started doing some more heavy lifting this week - but I have barely lost 5 pounds since July 4. I have realized that I don't track every morsel that enters my mouth - and I will start doing that today, every little bite must be counted I am realizing.
Thanks for the inspiration!! Cheers to tall ladies!0
