This story is insane! I am super impressed with his time, in the first place. Can you imagine running that far in flip flops?!

    I know that some run barefoot, but flip flops?!

    Ouch!!! I know if I did that I would have shin splints for days.

    I felt for this guy! I can barely wear flip flops around when I visit Disney let alone run a marathon!!!

    He has incredible legs.....I can run barefoot, but would punch puppies if I had to do it in flip-flops.

    I can't even gingerly cross my gravel driveway in bare feet, let alone think of running barefoot

    I have seen them run marathons in duct tape, blue jeans, socks, and I do know a woman that ran the Last Annual Vol State 500k that had a lot of foot problems and ran the last 130 miles in flip flops with tape on them
