Hello MFP

I have been asked to form a group for weight loss by several of my friends. I have decided to start this group effective March 1 with Weigh In. Through the support and motivation of each other we will succeed. If you are interested in participating in this venture, let me know via a message to me. Yes, this is going to be a biggest loser type group with weekly reporting and so on. In your acceptance email I am looking for the following information.

1. Username
2. Personal first name (optional)
3. Age, Gender
4. Targeted weight loss goal. What do you want to weight when you have reached goal?
5. Starting Weight (to be determined on Weigh In Day March 1, 2010.

If you are not interested in participating then just ignore the message but truly consider joining. Let's make this a huge challenge. I need your responses by this Friday to allow me time to establish the tracking sheet for effective March 1 start date.

Depending on the total number of participants we will set a goal of 1000 lost or 2000 pounds lost or even 10,000 pounds or more. We will do this. Help make it happen. Once you have decided, ask your friends to join us too.

    I'm new to this. Well, I signed up back in Nov. and only logged in for a month. I never got involved in any groups or really communicated with anyone so maybe that's why I quit logging in. I think joining this challenge will be great for me mentally, physically and spiritually. I'm not sure how all this works, so just let me know what I need to do (besides lose weight, lol).
