Any help please?

I am a 5'6.5'' Female - 149 lbs

Workout:
I practice martial arts 3 times a week
hard (unless I have to teach) : most times i'll lift for about an hour before martial arts
I work out 3 times a week as well - try to lift and do cardio
Always leave at least one day off for resting (usually Monday and Friday)

Diet:
I think....I eat pretty healthy. I try to almost never have any simple carbs unless it's after a workout. I have an extremely minimal intake of sugar. Basically only through fruit (which i rarely have), jelly, and i guess dairy products. I make sure to have a lot of vegetables. My protein intake is generally very clean as well. Chicken, eggs, turkey breast. I have protein shakes only in a bind mostly. My water intake is pretty good, at least 8 cups a day.

You're more than welcome to check on my food diary

Goal:
I would like to be 138-139lbs by January, which I think is reasonable. I'm planning on fighting in February.
Any help would amazing. I know it's 80% diet and 20% exercise. Again any help please.

Thank you!

Assuming you're eating at a deficit and along with your exercise, sounds like you've got it. Just keep doing what you're doing.

You would think but the weight isnt coming off. Even though my pant sized moved from a 10 to an 8. I'm still the same weight. :(

Not sure about lowering calories, but agree with the second part. You lost BODY SIZE. That's a real fat loss no matter what the scale says.

Also, it's nice to have goals, and imo, you are perfect as you are, but what happens if you don't lose 10 pounds by January? Are you going to "throw in the towel" and give up? Why not just let your body find it's own happy place, with no firm deadlines? Also, because you are already not very big, it can take a long time to lose 10 pounds. And that's a good thing, because you will most likely be able to sustain what you are doing and not regain the weight.

try switching up the exercises. look up interval training(wwhich i hate) or just dont do the same exercises week in week out. instead of walking, cycle - that kind of ting. also go away from sugar and carbs and eat some healthy fats and lots of protein. works for me

Honestly the biggest reason i'm doing this is because I want to fight in February. Fighting is done by weight class and my instructor wants me in the 135 and under category. I wouldn't mind losing about 5 lbs right now. But yes 10 lbs is very hard. I have to add in some high interval training. I'm trying to start adding running to the workout regime. My cardio is basically only martial arts which it is now very used to.
  • You will lose weight and gain at the same time if you are lifting 3 hours a week. The weight loss is seen in the "inches lost" instead of the weight lost. Take off some of the weight lifting time and add 20-30 minutes of running/jogging.

You're my height.. But I'm double your age... Make sure you are actually eating enough calories as it sounds like you work out alot. I try to eat all of my workout calories back... That means NO LESS than your BMR calories ( use the MFP tool to calculate that) , but preferably higher. The closer you get to goal weight the harder it is to loose weight. BTW, I surpassed my first 2 set GWs (144 then 137.. now aiming for 135 but looking more to add muscle than loose weight at this time). One additional note, it took me forever to go from a size 10 to a size 8...many many many months.. I got into a size 8, bought some new clothes and within less than a month i was in a size 6... Sometimes the body just does weird things like that....
