Cook beef in a skillet on the stove with onions, garlic. celery, and bell pepper. As this cooks add all the spices. When beef is browned, add the beans and tomatoes last (add the juice in the tomatoe can too). Break up the tomatoes with a spatula or spoon. reduce heat and simmer for 20 minuets. May add water if too thick. Also may add more spices if you like it hotter. 1 heaping cup is a serving

From what I calculated

I'm sorry. I'm selfish and I don't count carbs or sugar so I didn't think to check it. =( Let me see what I can do

    OK! Got it!

One serving also has 18 g carbs and 4.1g sugar. I don't know if that's good or not? I don't watch my carbs or sugar.

Sounds really good!!!! I'm a horrible cook but you made it sound really simple so I think I may try it :) maybe add in a few jalapeños because it like my chili a little hot. Thanks!!!!

  • Sounds delicious :drinker: & TY for sharing. Gives me a tasty reason to take a quick bike ride to the grocery store; I have almost every ingredient, just missing the meat (will be using lean ground turkey vs beef; thinking it should be just as tasty) & beans.
