I had turned 30 and was a fat 206 and smoked a pack a day. I decided that wasnt going to be my 30s. I posted a while back after finishing P90x. I have since been doing CrossFit for the last 9 months. My fitnesspal has been a great tool along the way. I am now about 10% body fat at 167lbs. There is still more work to be done but I feel great and my daily life has changed drastically. I don't smoke anymore either by the way.
