    Alexandria for one more week... then moving up north. To DC. :laugh:

    You'll love it here. I couldn't stand Northern Virginia-- it's like one giant traffic jam 24/7-- but DC is wonderful. What neighborhood are you moving to?

    The whole metro area is bad, used to live in Bethesda. No matter where you go in that area traffic is horrible during rush hour times. I like the area though :)

    Never spent much time in Bethesda, but the traffic in the District proper and PG County is nowhere near as bad as in Northern Virginia. I should know; I've moved around a lot. :)

    I've lived in Richmond for the last 3 1/2 years.

    I moved here from HI, where I lived for 4 years and absolutely loved it!! For those that hate it, get out and explore!! Don't let island fever get the best of you. There is so much to be done there. Enjoy the food, the beaches, the hiking, the entertainment, the wateralls, the shopping, the weather....there are so many things you take for granted and then you get back to reality... :wink:
