What type of undies do you wear.......?

  • I'm a big fan of Champion C9 gear. Good product and great prices at Target. I have their running shorts with built-in briefs but if I'm wearing other shorts or workout pants I go with their compression boxers. Keeps everything in place and wicks away the excess sweat. When I reach my goal weight I might consider UA but when I keep going down in sizes the Target prices are much friendlier than Scheel's.

If I'm wearing my yoga pants (I don't do yoga, I just find the pants super comfy to work out in), I don't wear undies. But if I'm wearing gym shorts, I just wear whatever...I don't put much thought into them unless they start crawling up my crack :explode:

Cotton thongs don't rub when you run

This reminds me of the time my friend wore a quick dry thong with cotton pants to the gym. She was walking around with a thong shaped wet spot on her pants!
    I wear regular cotton myself.

    LOL

I like the shorts with built in undies, now with yoga pants it is either thong (and it becomes very uncomfortable) or none

On the bike? Bike shorts...your first set of saddle sores from wearing cotton drawers on the bike will teach you quickly not to do that :noway:

I wear cotton panties. I hate thongs, so uncomfortable. I usually get my panties from a swedish company specialising in cheap but high quality underwear and socks. Primarily cotton...

My big issue with workout underwear is finding sports bras. Hate the jiggly boobs...

    Under Armour compression shorts.

this is all i wear anymore, but i like the nike ones better, they are more expensive, but worth the money imo, they are more comfortable around the waist, and seem to breathe better, cause they are a bit thinner.

I wear either UA or Nike Pro Combat.

Gotta catch the clearance sales on Nike.com & they also will let you use discount codes. Scored 3 pair (all the same color) for under $35 about a month ago.

I wear tight fitting underwear from... some kind of material. I don't even know from what material my underwear are made, all I care is for them to look good and be comfortable...

I wear tight fitting cos I always wear tight fitting. Otherwise my mini-me is having too much fun. Especially if I jump or run when doing cardio. And even worse if somebody from opposite sex with nice bum is doing it in front of me.
  • Thong. Never tried going commando...great idea!!!

My running shorts have a built in liner so when I lift I usually where nothing other than the shorts. When I run I sometimes wear a compression short (especially for longer mileage) or a jockstrap to eliminate the bounce...

I actually prefer the VS Lacie type for working out. They conform to the body well, it feels like I'm not wearing anything.

If not a Lacie, some other comfortable thong.

I wear whatever panties I have been wearing that day. No need to dirty another pair. Perhaps you could try the under armor compression shorts or something. Maybe they would help.

Same here. I'll have to check out the Nike ones, thanks for the tip!

    Lmao! Guilty!
  • please tell me you're not wearing underwear under bike shorts - that is a recipe for disaster... that's what your chamois is for!

I don't wear underwear when I work out because I'm either wearing bike shorts, tri shorts or running shorts with liners in them. You couldn't pay me enough money to wear cotton underwear while working out - cotton holds on to moisture like nothing else, that's just BEGGING for a yeast infection.

Under Armour all the way; especially if I know I am gonna be doing some major sweating (running, or cycling)

If I'm wearing gym pants, I go commando, why is there a need for undies? Most gym shorts have the undies in them already.
