hahah! the old 1200 cal trick! gotcha! I'm not eating 1200 cals.... but since you are here:
Ok, so I've had a good search on the internet on this forum and haven't found something definitive, if any of you have any links to diet + fitness regimes or you can give any specific (how to) advice on improving body fat %.
I want a strong and healthy body and loose the excess fat as i think my BF% is not good even though my BMI is.
come on people. tell me what I should do! I wanna change my ways!

The moral of all the websites is 80% diet 10% workout and 10% rest.
You eat well, lift weights 3-4x a week and rest.
Simple.

The best thing you can do is lift weights. Build muscle so you keep a high metabolism and you'll look good when your body fat % goes down. My recommendations is eat higher protein per day than recommended by MFP (for you, at least 130g), lift HEAVY weights (you can find weight lifting regimes everywhere--check out bodybuilding.com and you can browse a bunch of them and find one that works for you.), and do some cardio (about 30mins) most days. I would recommend upping your calories though... 1200 is great for simply losing weight, but if you're exercising and you want to build muscle, you're going to need more, especially since you're a man.
That's my 2 cents0 -
