I started on here n the 1st of March, my loss has been relatively slow but consistently lost almost every week.
To start with I was doing mainly running, I lost a lot of weight but mainly off my top half, in July I started boot camp; high intensity interval circuits and this is when my body really started firming p and losing inches off my belly, hips and bum.
Once I lose the last 9lbs going to switch to more resistance training to build some muscle!
I work out 5 times a week but try to keep it really varied so don't get bored.
Hope this helps x0 -
^ It's really sad that you feel the need to shame overweight people for a laugh.0

Sorry, really wasn't my intention. I just meant to make a joke that photo cropping is easier than dieting. But looking again I see it was in bad taste. I don't shame anyone for being overweight. I was overweight.0 -
Hi, I'm 5'6 and I started at 252 in June 2012 and am now 201, I'd like to be around 180 for my birthday on February 25th 2013 and then reach my goal of 150 in June 2013 (exactly a year after I started). I cut out chocolate and crisps and pretty much all junk food, I eat as clean as possible with lots of protein, fruit and veggies. From doing zero exercise a few months ago, I now work out 5 days a week and walk every day at work. I have another 50lbs to lose, but I know I can do it, I'm never going back!
My family has a long history of heart disease and complications, which is always in the back of my mind. I've changed my lifestyle for me, for my own self-esteem and confidence, but also because of my knowledge of my families health history. Having a strong heart is important! :drinker:
I loved reading through everyones stories, they are incredibly inspiring. We can achieve anything if we put our mind to it and stay dedicated!

I was just about in tears reading the previopus posts from women who are the same height as me and weigh so much less. Thank you for sharing. I am about your size when you started and hope to look as good as you do someday.0

You will. I believe in you. You MUST believe in yourself. YOU CAN DO THIS!!! Don't give up, no matter what, no matter how long the road looks, no matter how faraway the goal seems. You are beautiful, you are special and YOU CAN DO THIS!!!0 -

If you are referring to my post I am just rubbish at resizing pics; for someone who's 5"5 30 lbs is a big difference however you angle the pics.0

Started at 190lbs last year in June, dropped to 130lbs by November of last year.

Great thread! I'm 5'7". I started at 190, currently 163 pounds, my goal is 140. I like having friends the same height as me so I will be sending you some FRs (or please feel free to friend me too, and add a message to your FR).0

I just started my weight loss journey since I just got cleared to exercise last week. (I had a baby 7 weeks ago)
Height: 5' 6.5"
SW: 172 lbs
CW: 167 lbs
GW: 130 lbs
Of course I am not sure if that goal weight is realistic or not but I will continue to try and lose until my body is where I want it to be. According to the "frame tests" I have a small frame so I am thinking I can definately still look healthy at 130. Very excited to be there!0 -
5'6. Still a work in progress. Weight in the first picture was before at 146 and after at 132.
This is a year's progress. Starting weight was 163
