6'0" Men - goal weight?

Options
What is a reasonable goal weight for a 6'0" man? Middle of "normal" BMI range is somewhere around 165. That seems a bit low to me,
Thoughts?

Easiest way is to go off of your body fat percentage. Check out this calculator http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/ibw/ Once you get down to your ideal weight you might decide that you want to put on additional muscle mass. I am not well versed in all of the technicalities, but that calculator is a decent tool to get you started.

    <---- That's 5'11" and 182 for a reference point.
6' and 165 would be pretty darn light, IMO.

I am just over 5'11. My goal is between 185-195. I am at 220 right now.

I'm 6'1", I got down to 175 at one point, and I felt that I was too small for my frame.

My experience is that your goal tends to move once you get closer to it, because you have a clearer idea of how you will look. I recommend shoot for 190 or so, while keeping in mind that you might revise it.

My hubby is 6'2" and weighs 160. He is a runner and VERY lean, but he doesn't look too thin. However, his arms don't look anything like the guys who have posted here!

    I'm 5'10 - 5'11. Goal weight is 180, but I want a leaner frame.

BMI is nonsense. I'm 5'11" and I'd be 'healthy' at 132.7 - 179.3 lbs... except with my bodyfat percentage, I'd be 180 with 0% bodyfat.

My goal is 190. I was at 162 years ago when I did nothing but run and felt too thin. At my age now, I would be happy at 190.

I'm 5'11", and about 165 pounds. I have a little bit of a belly fat left to go, so think I could go down to about 155-160. When I was a 20-something, I probably weighed in under 140, and that was too skinny!

I must be tired. Without a comma in there I read as '162 years ago' and thought, holy crap! Thats pretty good for an old fart

Thank you all so much - as I said, 165 seemed very light. It's interesting to see how many of you said something along the lines of "I'm 175, goal 185." That tells me a lot about what I should be aiming for. I'll have to check out the body fat calculator.
    Thanks so much!

6' here @ 190. Want to maintain and continue to build muscle. 190 is considered overweight-WTH

Well I will be out of the norm then (and by bmi definitely consider obese) cause I am 6 ft 1 in. and previously weighed 560 lbs. and my goal weight is 225 lbs. any lower then that and I start looking dehydrated and too lean...
