Pretty much the worst day every

Ok so first off no one died. Thats about the only positive thing that happened yesterday.
My sister was off from work yesterday, she was home having her girlie time ( watching sisterhood of the traveling pants and painting her nails) when someone knocks on the door. IT a lady with a list from the bank of houses going up for Auction Today (friday) due to foreclosure. The lady wanted to look around the house. Now I've been paying rent for a year and it turns out my landlord wasnt paying the bank. 2 other people also showed up requesting to look at the house. Needless to say my landlord is not returning any of my phone calls at this time.:mad: :grumble: Then as if that isnt bad enough we had hurricane whatever her name is pass near us yesterday so it did not stop raining all damned day. I'm driving home from work and my car just stops and shuts itself off. I was at a stop sign making a turn so I pushed (and steered) the car into someones lawn (thanks workout time :bigsmile: ) by the time I got it on the lawn I had started to resemble a drowned rat. OF course the minute I get it onto the lawn several cars came by and some young guys jumped out (hope for the younger generation see) and offered to help me. So I get a jump from one of them and go one my merry way. 2 blocks from my house my drives side door starts smoking and flames start flickering in the window/door switch box. The car shuts off so I steer it into someones yard bang on his door and get him to lend me his fire extinguisher and put out the door fire. I popped the switch out with a flat head and disconnected it from the car. Then I finally got home. My day felt like a bad country song ......:grumble:

For what its worth.... Its a day you'll always remember. Few days ever earn that status.
