How about some Chris Isaak. He's soothing.

Thing is everyone has such differing tastes in music. Someone requested suggestions for his playlist on here a couple of days ago and I went through them all on amazon to make my playlist for a race tomorrow... and I only liked a few. Loads of heavy metal etc which is not my taste...

I like almost all kinds of music! Willing to try what I normally don't listen to...except rap! I'm open to suggestions...just may not take them!

Try the Podrunner series (available on iTunes.) You can select different styles and speeds (beats per minute) and most go about a full hour. They are free. Great for revving up an hour on the elliptical!

I've just added Hilltop Hoods to my running playlist. Also Death Cab for Cutie.

I love the pod runners!! I haven't used them in a while but used to a lot when I was trying to hit certain speeds walking or running
