What do you do when you get a chocolate craving? what do you eat so that you can get your fix but stay under your calories? im dying for some but no matter what i want i end up going over my calories at the end of the day because of it. i always want it at night when i know ive already hit my calorie intake.

I have a hard time eating only one piece of chocolate, so I usually allow myself 2-3 bites/chocolate nuggets and just budget for it in my day, or factor it into my evening meal as a low-cal dessert. There's also great low-fat and low-cal chocolate pudding cups and mousses you can get that are 60 calories, sometimes 100 calories.0

When I have a dire chocolate craving I have a Jello No Sugar Added Pudding...

jello makes a great sugar free chocolate pudding that tastes like the full calorie versions. I really like it. I also am addicted to chocolate and i always want to eat it no matter what i eat for dinner so I work it into my food diary before i even log anything else. Its the only way i can really make it work. I dont know what your dinner situation is like, but I sometimes make a dinner that is kind of sweet (like a yogurt and sweet potato) to hold off my sugar cravings because its like killing two birds with one stone- a dinner and a sweet ending to the day0

5 dark chocolate M&Ms (I'm not exactly sure but I count it as ~50 calories. I know it's not more than that)
no pudge brownies (100 calories/no fat per serving)
chocolate Vita Tops and a glass of milk (my personal favorite b/c I'm following weight watchers and they are only 1 point) 100 calories and full of fiber
that new jell-o chocolate mousse stuff. I think it only 60 calories0 -
I just discovered dark chocolate with goji berries - the BEST! A couple small pieces will do me...0

Semi sweet chocolate chips. You can have a few with something (like a banana or apple) and it will cure your craving with low calories.0

I tried those pudding cups and everything but they dont satisfy my craving. its not as strong as normal chocolate would be.0 -

i think im going to try that. but bananas have a lot of calories. i could eat like 3xs the amount of chocolate chips without eating the banana and have the same amount of calories.0 -
It's the sugar that kills me. If I have anything with sugar, I just crave more and more. I am trying not to eat sugar--it takes about 5 to 7 days for the cravings to really go away, but then you won't miss it. Promise!0

Get some good, dark chocolate. It tastes much better, has less sugar and is more satisfying.0 -
I add some unsweetened hershey's cocoa powder to either plain or vanilla yogurt with slced strawberries. If I use the plain yogurt then I add a packet of equal to sweeten it up.0

I can't keep chocolate in the house for when I crave because I can't stop at just a small piece, so I burn heavily scented soya or wax pucks. Tasty smelling ones like french vanilla or cinnamon. I guess the smell kinda tricks my mind into thinking I've had something sweet.0

the chocolate and oats fibre1 bars are really tasty. They do count rather high though on the calories and sugar but paired with a few glasses of water, they sure are filling! I used to eat one per day on WW (2 points) but find now my sugar is over on the days I have one. So I only have one in my purse for emergencies (ie:Fibre1 bar or drivethru lol).0

I live ovaltine with skim milk. Sometimes Ill blend it with ice for a smoothie texture0

I eat a handful of chocolate chips to curb my chocolate craving. It works great for me and has very few calories!0

I keep some hershey sugar free mini chocolate bars in my freezer and just pop one in my mouth and let it melt. Since it is frozen it takes longer to disburse so feels like I am eating more of it then I am.0

FireMonkey is right..... purchase some dark chocolate. It is richer, healthier and more satisfying. HAPPY CHOCOLOATING!!!0

I tried the Special K chocolate cereal, and found it surprisingly good. It curbed my chocolate craving.0

THIS IS MY FAVORITE SUBJECT!!!!!!!!!!!! i am a diehard chocolate fan - it's the only "sweet" or "bad food" that i simply can not cut out altogether. here are my alternatives -
Jell-o brand Sugar free Dark chocolate, milk chocolate or triple chocolate pudding - 60 calories!
Starbucks mocha frappuccino with extra mocha drizzle (medium/grande sized) - 140 calories
Weight Watcher brand ice cream products 1-2 points is 100 calories or less
Hershey's special dark chocolate chips, taste good frozen and you can eat them like M&M's - 1 tblsp is 70 calories
100 calorie packs of your favorite snack - oreos, oreo cakesters, grasshoppers (OMMM!), etc.
Lindor truffles - ONE truffle is 73 calories. hard to stop at one though...
as a last resort if you absolutely NEED chocolate but can not afford the calories - try a pickle at room temperature. only 5 calories for a single spear. will kill sugar cravings instantly.0 -
Oh another one cool whip mixed with semi sweet cocoa power and put in the freezer. It is like chocolate icecream.0

Lindt--- dark choc. they come in individual squares 85% pure co-co...It is healthy ...and 3 squares at 90 cal....sometimes I eat one and it's enough...or sometimes the 3..heeheee.
But I LOVE CHocolate...and the dark kicks a craving....and it just feels healthy good after...!0 -
I love chocolate too. Especially chocolate and raspberry together. One thing I started doing 4-6 weeks ago is drinking chocolate Shakeology every morning. I mix it with cold coffee to make a mocha, or with frozen raspberries for my chocolate raspberry fix. I find that it REALLY solves my cravings for sugary treats the rest of the day AND it satisfies my chocolate need. Plus, it has 70 ingredients that I otherwise would not get in my diet and certainly don't get from a square of chocolate.0

Skinny cow fudge pops- 50 cals each
1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips- about 180 cals
Dark Chocolate Dreams peanut butter by Peanut Butter and Co.- 2 tbsp about 180 cals (I put this on caramel or chocolate rice cakes, but that only needs 1 tbsp per cake. The cakes are 50 cals + the 90 cals from the PB, not too bad )
chocolate milk
Hope that helps!0 -

It does me. I'm afraid to even buy sweet food scented candles. The last thing I could handle is my house smelling like a bakery.0 -

If you're craving something, nothing else is going to take away that craving completely. You either have to have a bit of what you're craving, and leave it at that, or (the best option) quit the sweets altogether.0 -
Jello Sugar Free double chocolate pudding cups...60 calories!!
Just discovered 100 calorie packs of Mr. Salty's Chocolate Covered Pretzels.....yum!!! I had one last night and felt like I was cheating! I put the package down and came back to it 3 times just to finish all the pretzels because they give you so many!!0
