Not going to make my goal this month, unfortunately. Turns out that I've got a femoral neck stress fracture in my left hip and I've had to discontinue ALL activity and am now gimping around on crutches for the next four weeks. This totally sucks. :sad:
Hopefully I'll be back for the December challenge, with much reduced mileage. Thanks for helping me keep motivated for the last three months with that wonderful spreadsheet!

@ tajour -- ouch! So sorry you're hurt, but glad you know what is wrong and what you have to do. We'll see you in a couple months when you're better.
@ runnerman47 -- wow! What a time for the Marine Corps Marathon. Way to go.
@ jasondcooper - I was quoting Dinos who rode 17 miles LOL. Although my marathon training program does call for me to run 17 later this week. Holy cow - what have I gotten myself into? As to your winter goals, I say keep them high and force yourself to either hit the road or visit the Y. They're both good.
I did 3 miles outside today and I have to say Sandy is the coldest hurricane I've ever experienced. Brrrr.... I was wet and cold at the end. We're locked down now so not sure when I'm going to do my last mile, but I will do it. Stay safe everyone!

@jasondcooper - i admit to being a weather wimp. :blushing: Most of my winter miles will be on the treadmill, indoor track, or spinning at the gym. If you treadmill, i suggest adding hills, inclines, and/or sprints to keep the boredom down and the difficulty up.0 -
