    To answer your question, when MTV first started and they actually played music videos, they were the first VJ's or Video Jockeys.

    I would also like to add that I am 30 pounds LIGHTER today than I was the day I graduated in 2002 :bigsmile:

    1996! That seems like sooo long ago now. And now I'm a secondary school teacher (11-16/18 school in the UK).

    I don't have any pics, but back then it was all Britpop music, Blur, Oasis, Pulp etc. Loved it!

    here's a memory for you... do you remember how people went around in 1976 and painted all the fire hydrants to look like colonial people? i do. i was 9. we had one on the corner of the property that was painted. i wish i had a photo of it.

    I was in Desert Storm two years later and I was already one of the "old guys"

    Class of 1988 here too! Wow... time sure flies by fast!

    88 as well, it didn't really hit me until 4 years ago when I was at my neices graduation and sitting in the stands looking at the 2008 spelled out in ballons I was like, **** it has been 20 years since I saw the 1988 spelled out in ballons and instantally I felt OLD.
